The previous image showed typical territorial aggression of a male Blackcap, Sylvia atricapilla against a Song Thrush, Turdus philomelos. These little territorial incidents, frequently occur, when several birds visit the bathing place at one time. The Songthrush didn't care much about the tinier Blackcap and went into the water for his bath. On this image one sees the Blackcap observing the bathing Song Thrush and just waiting for its turn to bathe.
