Description:
Immature bird. This is a quite common and widespread species in New Guinea, but because of its secretive behaviour, being shy and the fact that it is often moving very quickly and flying fast, it is not often decently observed. It is an insectivore who also often visits flowers and fruit in search for food. The species has a wide altitudinal range and occurs from sea-level till 1500 metres.
