This picture was made at our campsite at Yabogima, in the Baliem Valley, at an altitude of about 2000 metres above sea-level. At Yabogima there is a traditional hut, which is a wooden construction. It is used by the local tribes, when they are on their way between villages for trading goods.
We camped in and around the wooden hut. On the picture you can see Nius, one of our porters, drinking coffe.
