This image was taken at a higher elevation of about 1800 metres above sealevel, in the vicinity of Camp David. Camp David was named after Sir David Attenborough, who camped here with his crew during the making of his famous movie about the Birds of Paradise. Pandanus trees attract a lot of fruiteating birds when their fruit is ripe. Amongst them: Fruit Doves, Birds-Of Paradise, Parrots, and also Cuscus Bears and smaller mammals such as rats.
