One of the most birdrich places in Hortobagy National Park, is the Halasto Fish Pond area. It is a vast area with hundreds of small and greater ponds, where a lot of marsh and reedbirds breed in the extensive reedbeds or feed on the abundant food-scources (fish, amphibians, insects, ...).
